Perbahasan Berkenaan Asal-Usul Bahasa di Eropah<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nota ini hanyalah dibangunkan berteraskan kepada sebuah rujukan, iaitu Aarsleff The Tradition of Condillac : The Problem of the Origin of Language in the Einghteenth Century and the Debate in theBerlinAcademybefore Herder (asalnya 1968). Beliau membahaskan dengan panjang lebar berkenaan bagaimana isu asal-usulnya bahasa mendapat tempat di hati sarjana-sarjana Jerman dan Perancis. Walaupun beliau mungkin dengan sengaja tidak membawakan perbincangan sama yang berlaku diEngland\/Scotland, namun beliau memberikan maklumat teliti berkenaan semua karya yang berkenaannya, iaitu :<\/p>\n

    Namun, beliau dengan panjang lebar memuatkan intisari seluruh perbahasan yang berlangsung di Perancis dan Jerman, semenjak dimulai oleh Condillac pada 1746.<\/p>\n

      Ringkasan kepada perbincangan Aarsleff adalah :<\/p>\n

      1. Asal-Usul Bahasa := Persoalan berkenaan keadaan\/kewujudan bahasa dan keadaan\/kewujudan pemikiran.<\/p>\n

      2. Tatabahasa Sejagat (lebih tepat rasanya, Tatabahasa Terawal) := Penyelidikan mencari tatabahasa yang dipunyai oleh semua bahasa dunia. Arrsleff mendakwa bahawa Chomsky berjaya mentakrifkannya. Kajian lanjut tentang persoalan ini untuk kontek bahasa-bahasa Rumpun Melayu dikaji oleh Humboldt, yang merujuk pandangan-pandangan Herder.<\/p>\n
